Duktig Vineyard was established in 2005 and is located within the city limits of Seattle, Washington in Washington State's Puget Sound Appelation. All 40 micro acres are planted exclusively in Vitis Vinifera "Pinot Noir". Our planting consists of 2-year old Pinot Noir vines grafted onto disease-resistant rootstock. We sourced our vines from Seattle's finest nursery: Swanson's. In addition to the vines planted in our vineyard, you will also find a fine collection of Hass Avocado, Date Palm and Olive trees. We expect our first harvest in October 2006 with bottling 14 months later. The 2006 vintage will be produced with painstaking attention to quality and in extremely limited quantity.
